Araraquara is a city in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Its nickname is Sun's Home, because of its sunset and because it gets very hot.
   More than 195,000 people live in Araraquara. The city was founded in 1817. Ferroviária is the local football (soccer) team of the city. The club plays their home matches at Estádio Fonte Luminosa, which has a maximum capacity of 18,453 people.
